KIIO secures Innosuisse innovation project

KIIO has secured an Innosuisse innovation project with research partners at EPFL and the Swiss AI Lab (IDSIA).

Over the next 18 months, we will develop models to help engineers locate process faults, understand their causes and estimate their severity. The research will also address faults absent from the training data, with an emphasis on explaining each diagnosis and quantifying its uncertainty.

The project funds a Founding Research Engineer position. We are looking for a strong background in graph machine learning and time-series learning, or in dynamical systems, system identification and control.
